Mini Pavlova Wreaths

Pavlovas are easy to make and can even be cooked with small children. Small Pavlova wreaths are versatile and can be decorated differently with seasons, just add other toppings. Perfect, to make small Christmas wreaths for the Holiday season.

Who doesn't like this dessert, on the outside crispy with marshmallow on the inside!

Ingredients

PAVLOVA
6 Large white eggs
1.5 cups Organic granulated sugar
1 tsp. Fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 tsp. Corn starch

WHIPPED CREAM
1.5 cups Heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp. Organic granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 225˚ F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
    If you have coarse-grain sugar, pass it through your blender or grinder.
  3. Using your stand mixer, beat 6 egg whites on high speed 1 min until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add 1.5 cups sugar and beat 10 min on high speed, or until stiff peaks form. It will be smooth and glossy. If peaks are soft, continue a minute or two.
  4. Using a spatula, fold in 1 tsp lemon juice and 2 tsp vanilla extract, then fold in 2 tsp corn starch.
  5. Pipe meringue into nest, the size you would like for servings. It can be smaller or bigger depending how you want to serve them.
  6. Bake at 225˚ for 1 hr and 15 min then turn the oven off and without opening the door, let meringue in the hot oven another 30 min.
    Once cool, you can top them with whipped cream and fruits.

**Note: Egg whites mount better at room temperature. And whipped cream, on the other hand, when keep cold.
